Yenn

Rated highly by the top producers and dj’s in the world, running his own electro house record label and a massive desire to always get better, Yenn has achieved a lot in his 26 years of age!

Growing up in the small country of Luxembourg, he started producing in 1997. Back then he experimented with 160bpm dance, classical and game music which helped him pick up some valuable production skills.

Over time his production improved to a very good standard. He started djing in 2002, this would give him the platform he needed to get known and get his songs out there.

Yenn set up his label YARecords (Yenn’s Audio Records) in 2007 and released his very first single ‘My Secret Love’. Later in 2008 he released the anthemic electro track ‘What I feel’ on the American label Hunya Munya Records. This track would make Yenn an interesting and exciting talent on the house scene. After the success of ‘What I Feel’ Yenn was now recieving offers from labels. One of which was Bonzai Music which gave him a remix job. Yenn finished the remix with no fuss and handed it back to them and soon after he found out that bigger names were now listening as ‘Dumonde’ and ‘Yves Deruyter’ 2 big household names, named it best remix!

This success gave him more contacts and better offers. In 2008 he would release the ‘It So Sux’ EP on none other than the famous Miles Dyson’s label ‘Plasmapool’!

With all this happening, Yenn decided to give YARecords a re-vamp and started afresh with ‘Noobish Records’. It was clear that he meant business with this label as the first release on Noobish would feature a remix from massive electro producers ‘Electrixx’. With the first tune out and the label getting bigger, Yenn re-released that great melodic tune ‘What I Felt’ which added to the very high standard that Yenn wanted on Noobish. Yenn did also play several times at the biggest festival in Luxembourg, where the Space DJz were also playing. They stood behind him as he performed his incredible live act and they were so impressed that they asked him to get in contact. He did, and later released the Space Djz – Tabula Rasa on Noobish Records where Yenn delivered a massive remix!

Then Yenn ended up working with Canadian electro star ‘Lazy Rich’. Lazy agreed to do a remix for Yenn on Noobish Records and in turn Yenn remixed Lazy on Big Fish Recordings.

More success came with Yenn’s tunes ‘Oozing’ and ‘Starz’ on Jigsaw Recordings being played and featured by that german dj we all know…Paul Van Dyk! This release has also been playlisted by Carl Cox, Lange, Markus Schulz and more. This was not the end of success as soon after ‘Asa Daschi’ was released on Plasampool and Miles Dyson’s remix got way up the beatport charts, creating even more interest in this producer from tiny Luxembourg!

He’s also regularly being featured on every major digital download store (Beatport, Trackitdown etc…) with a regular charts presents. Recently he teamed up with growing electro house and breaks artist ‘Refracture’ to create ‘Symphony’ which looks set to be a hit for sure!

Look out for bigger and better tunes as well as more interesting collaborations coming up!
