Born in September 1985, Nick Tsitlakidis discovered electronic music at an early age when he first heard The Prodigy — a spark that ignited a lifelong passion for sound. By the age of 15 he was experimenting with loops and early productions, exploring a range of styles as he searched for his own voice.
His sound began to crystallize under the influence of Sasha’s Airdrawndagger and the Global Underground compilation series, which inspired him both as a DJ and as a producer. In early 2005, Nick sought professional feedback on his work, sending tracks to Andrew K and Kosmas Epsilon, both of whom offered high praise and encouragement. This gave Nick the confidence to pursue labels for release.
After early digital releases on Hunya Munya Records and Fiberline Audio, Nick achieved a breakthrough with Utopia — a vinyl collaboration with Steve Mill released on T.U.S.O.M (The Underground Sound of Madrid). The track earned strong support from international names such as Sultan and was later featured on the Beat Freak Annual Collection, highlighting the year’s most successful releases from the Beat Freak Label Group.
With more original productions and remixes on the way for labels including Hunya Munya, Underground Lessons, Fiberline Audio, Segment, and others, Nick Tsitlakidis continues to evolve as both a DJ and producer — crafting forward-thinking electronic music that bridges underground depth with global appeal.
