Habersham

At just twenty years old, Damon Fonooni — known worldwide as Habersham — has already achieved what many artists spend a lifetime pursuing. Born in Iran and raised across multiple countries, he now calls Atlanta, Georgia home, balancing a full-time academic schedule with a rapidly accelerating music career.

A DJ for over five years and producer for three, Habersham has never limited his vision to the local scene. Instead, his sights have always been set on the global stage — a goal that is quickly becoming reality. His original productions and remixes have earned support from some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Craig Richards, Saeed & Palash, Barry Gilbey, Sander Kleinenberg, Martin Villeneuve (MV/Envy), Chris Fortier, Tim Skinner, Jimmy Van M, Koma & Bones, Ben Camp, Paolo Mojo, Jason Jollins, Hector Romero, Gene Carbonell, and Phil K.

Phil K notably licensed Habersham’s single Mister Cool (Music Is Freedom) for his acclaimed Balance 004 compilation, further cementing Habersham’s reputation as a rising force in progressive and forward-thinking dance music. Another of his tracks was also featured in Phil K’s guest mix on John Digweed’s Kiss FM show in December, exposing his work to a worldwide audience.

With international recognition growing at a remarkable pace, Habersham stands as one of the most promising new talents in electronic music — an artist driven not just by skill, but by vision, versatility, and a relentless passion for sound.
